YCMOU to open centre at Hemalkasa
Nashik, Feb 28 (UNI) The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) in Nashik will open its centre at Hemalkasa in Gadchiroli district of the state.
''YCMOU will open its centre at Hemalkasa for the education of those students who have fail in the HSC exmination. I will soon visit Dr Prakash Amte and thereafter the Lokbiradari project and the centre will be opened at Hemalkasa,'' YCMOU Vice Chancellor Dr Rajan Welukar said here today.
Dr Welukar was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of Photo and Craft exhibition on Lokbiradari Prakalp at Sarvajanik Vachanalaya.
Hemalkasa has eduction facilities upto 12th standard. The students who pass their HSC exam go outside for higher education.
The YCMOU centre will provide education opportunity to those who cannot do this due to failure in HSC examination.
Dr Welukar added that the YCMOU will also provide scholarships to those students who cannot afford the fees.
