Rs 38 lakh booty seized, 2 held in UP

Sultanpur, Feb 28: Police claimed to have recovered cash over Rs 38 lakhs, which were recently looted from a trader in Maharashtra, from Viveknagar area here.

On February 23, masked-men had decamped after snatching Rs 45 lakh from trader Kishore Jain, police said yesterday.

The district police in collaboration with the Mumbai police made the seizure from Santosh Kumar Singh and Dabbu Singh.
