Mush must convene Par immediately: Sharif

Islamabad, Feb 27: Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday warned President Pervez Musharraf that the victors of the February 18 elections would not wait “a single day more" for parliament to be convened.

Sharif questioned why the Election Commission of Pakistan has not released official election results. “I say on behalf of all of my colleagues that we inform Mr Musharraf that we are not prepared to wait for a single day more for the assembly to be convened," Sharif told the Pakistani MPs. “We must fight together, we must defeat dictatorship," the Dawn quoted him, as saying.
