Mayawati losing her popularity : Sanjay
Jaipur, Feb 28 (UNI) Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Sanjay Singh today said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati's popularity had now been declining in her home state and her party was unlikely to make much impact during the Assembly elections later this year.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Singh said the BSP chief had been losing her popularity among the people of Uttar Pradesh and it seemed that next few months would turn out to be more tough for her.
Mr Singh, however, felt that the presence of the BSP contestants in the fray in Rajasthan might mar the prospects of the Congress and the BJP. The Congress was all careful in this regard and was ready to face the situation unitedly, he added.
Mr Singh was in Jaipur on a private visit.
