Management Information System introduced in schools
Chandigarh, Feb 28 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration has introduced Management Information System (MIS) in Government schools alongwith initiating the collection of school fees from Sampark and Gram Sampark centres.
The scheme will help the schools have better record pertaining to students, faculty and staff, examination, curriculum, student fees etc. It would also facilitate direct access to the data.
The fees which will be deposited at Sampark Centres will be collected by the designated Bank and it would be credited to the Government Treasury.
This initiative would be started from Government Schools which are running Class IX and onwards. The first phase of the implementation of this initiative would be started in April with the start of new session.
