Hindustan Unilever announces key change in management

Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) today announced key changes in the Management Committee of the company with Mr Douglas Baillie, currently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HUL, joining the Unilever Executive, taking on the role of President, Western Europe.

Mr Nitin Paranjpe, currently Executive Director, Home and Personal Care, HUL, will be appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company. The appointment will be subject to approval of the shareholders in April.

HUL Chaiman Harish Manwani, commenting on the change, said it reflects the company's strong commitment towards leadership development and the tradition of leveraging experiences and synergies of talent across markets.
