Genapct opens second delivery centre in Romania

Chennai, Feb 28 (UNI) Genpact, which manages business processes for companies around the world, announced the official opening of a new delivery centre in Cluj-Napoca, its second facility in Romania.

''We wanted to diversify our presence in the country and Culj-Napoca seemed like a natural choice, given its population, infrastructure and academic institutions,'' Genpact CEO Patrick Cogny said in a release here today.

Genpact would provide finance, accounting, customer service, procurement and IT services from its two centres in Romania and one in Budapest. It would also provide enterprise software services to clients across Europe from centres in the Netherlands and Spain, the release added.
