CM dedicates Dharamshala sewerage scheme
Shimla, Feb 28 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today dedicated to people the ambitious Dharamshala Sewerage scheme completed at a cost of Rs 1756.08 lakh by commissioning 5.15 MLD sewerage treatment unit and septic tank of 2000 users capacity.
He said the scheme had a provision for 2,933 house connections out of which 750 connections had already been released and efforts would be made to connect every house with sewerage line in cooperation with the residents of the area.
Mr Dhumal said during his earlier tenure, he had procured Rs 30 crore from the 11th Finance Commission for the sewerage schemes of Dharamsala, Jwalamukhi and Hamirpur and had made adequate provision of funds for the completion of proposed schemes.
