AP Govt appoints new Chief Secretary
Hyderabad, Feb 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Government today appointed Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) and Special Chief Secretary A Raghotham Rao as the new Chief Secretary of the State, as the present Chief Secretary J Harinarayan was retiring from services tomorrow.
An official release said here, the 1970 batch IAS officer Mr Rao would take over charge from Mr Harinarayan, who would retire from service on attaining the age of superannuation tomorrow.
The State Special Chief Secretary to Finance Department P Ramakanth Reddy was transferred and posted as CCLA.
Principal Secretary to Finance Department IYR Krishna Rao, would hold an additional charge of Special Chief Secretary to Fiannce Department until further orders, the release added.
