Two killed in poll-related violence in Nagaland
Kohima, Feb 27 (UNI) Two people were killed in a clash between the supporters of two rival candidates at Tuli in Mokokchung district here today.
Official sources said supporters of one Nagaland Peoples' Front (NPF) candidate and an Independent of Tuli Assembly constituency engaged in a gun battle in which two people were shot dead by the supporters of the Independent candidate.
Police rushed to the spot to bring the situaqtion under control.
Police also registered a case and investigation was on, sources added.
