Twelve CPSEs to receive MoU Excellence Awards for 2006-07
New Delhi, Feb 27 (UNI) Twelve Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) will receive MoU Excellence Awards.
There are ten sectors and one from each of the sectors besides one from the listed Central Public Sector Enterprises and one from amongst the turnaround/loss making CPSEs for the year 2006-07.
The 12 award winning CPSEs for the year 2006-07 are Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Energy Sector), Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (Industrial Sector), State Trading Corporation of India Ltd (Trading&Services Sector), National Building Construction Corporation (Consultancy Sector), National Backward Classes Finance&Development Corporation (Financial Services Sector), Manganese Ore India Ltd (Mining&Metals Sector), Container Corporation of India Ltd (Transport Sector), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (Petroleum Sector), Rashtriya Chemicals&Fertilizers Ltd (Fertilizers Sector), Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (Electronics and Communications Sector).
One Award for the highest growth rate in market capitalization among the listed CPSEs went to Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).
The award for the Best Turnaround Sick and Loss making CPSE was bagged by Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd.
Thirty-five Central Public Sector Enterprises will receive the MoU Excellence Certificates for the year 2006-07. Among them are BHEL, SAIL, GAIL(India)Ltd, MMTC Ltd, RITES Ltd and Airport Authority of India Ltd.
