Parliamentary knowledge camp for Gujarat MLAs

Gandhinagar, Feb 27 (UNI) Gujarat Legislative Speaker Ashok Bhatt has organised a three-day ''Parliamentary Knowledge camp'' at Vidhan Sabha Bhavan from February 29.

Talking to mediapersons, Mr Bhatt said that experts on parliamentary system will give lectures at the camp which will be attended by MLAs of ruling as well as opposition parties.

Speakers include P D T Achari (Secretary General Lok sabha), Subhash Kashyap (former Secretary General Lok Sabha), Bakul Dholakia (former Director IIM-Ahmedabad), Arun Shauri (former Central Minister and Writer), P K Laheri (former Chief Secretary). They will speak on issues related with parliamentary democracy.

Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterji will remain present in the concluding session of the camp, Mr Bhatt added.
