Opium plants worth Rs four crore seized in Gaya

Gaya, Feb 27 (UNI) Police today seized opium plants worth Rs four crore at Tetaria village under Barachatti police station in the district.

Police said acting on a tip-off, a raid was conducted at Tetaria village and recovered the plants from a plot of the land, where opium plants were being cultivated.

A case in this connection had been registered against four people, who were owners of the plot of the land.

Raids were being carried out to nab the named accused in the case.
