One killed in firecracker explosion

Betul, MP, Feb 27: A thirteen-year-old boy was killed when a cracker exploded while he was collecting money being lavished on a bridegroom as a part of a wedding ritual at Athner town in this district this morning, police said.

A marriage party from Betul had gone to the house of Sunila Sahu and people were exploding crackers and lavishing money on the bridegroom.

Sunil Kathne was collecting the money when a firecracker exploded killing him on the spot.
