B'desh deeply concerned over Israeli attack on Palestinians in Gaza

Dhaka, Feb 27 (UNI) Bangladesh today expressed deep concern over the deadly attack by Israel on Palestinians in Gaza that left nearly half a dozen dead.

''Violence begets violence and a recurrence of such attacks by Israel can never contribute to the peace that both sides, and the world community, desire,'' Foreign Adviser of the country's caretaker government Iftekhar Chowdhury said.

Dr Chowdhury, who is on an official visit to Japan, said he was deeply saddened and concerned over the deadly attack.
