Two die, five injured in road accident in HP

Solan, Feb 26 (UNI) Two people died and five others were injured after a private bus, they were travelling in, overturned in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, police said.

The accident occurred yesterday at Ambpura, about 100 km from here, in the district after the driver failed to bring the bus to a stop following a brake failure, the police told UNI here.

It said after the vehicle overturned after the driver crashed the bus into a hillock after brake failure.

The injured have been admitted to a government hospital at Nalagarh where the doctors described their condition stable, the police said The two dead have been identified as Niku Ram, 26, and Mohan Lal, 50, it said and added that a case has been registered and investigations are on.
