NIT signs MoU with UK's Sheffield University on exchange programme
Hamirpur, Feb 26 (UNI) The National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh today signed an memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the United Kingdom's Sheffield Helm University in the field of education.
The MoU was signed by NIT's director I K Bhat and British University's Graham Button here today in the presence of Mr Robert G Harris, UK's leading computer expert.
The two educational institutions would exchange programme in education, especially in the field of material testing, biotechnology and computronics, besides carrying short term courses, which would be attended by experts of these institutions.
This is the second time that the NIT signed an MoU with a foreign university after signing it first with Technical University of Australia a few years ago.
