Muslim Morcha to promote Deoband's resolution against terrorism
Lucknow, Feb 26 (UNI) The All India United Muslim Morcha today announced a grand seminar in the state capital to promote prime Muslim education centre Deoband's resolution declaring terrorism as ''anti-Islam''.
Countering the controversies of allegedly connecting Islam and terrorism, Deoband Darul-ullum had earlier passed a resolution declaring terrorism as ''anti-Islam'' which was whole heartedly welcomed by the intellects of the Muslim community.
Lauding the decision, All India United Muslim Morcha had decided to conduct another seminar on the same lines. The place and date of the event would be decided soon, Morcha president M A Siddhiqui said.
''Terrorism does not belong to any caste, colour or religion....in the light of increasing terrorists activities, the resolution holds great significance and would pass a positive message to the world about Islam, '' Mr Siddhiqui said.
Internationally and nationally acclaimed Muslim guru's, clerics, intellectuals and politicians with positive attitute would congregate at the seminar.
