Lalu's budget ''biased'': BJP
Lucknow, Feb 26 (UNI) Close on the heels of its counterparts, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today unleashed vitroil over the Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav's railway budget 2008-09 terming it ''biased'' and ''dissatisfactory.'' While expressing his opinion over the budget, UP BJP vice president and spokesperson Hridaya Narayan Dixit said ''it is Lalu's new card to achieve success in the upcoming lok sabha election as the budget gives no respite to general public.'' The Railway minister had announced to make Patna railway station an international level station, but not touched upon even a single railway station of Uttar Pradesh, Mr Dixit asserted.
He said, the minister had not fulfilled his promises of last budget as 70 per cent of his commitment not met yet and railways department showed no quality work.
