Lalu has kept people-friendly approach for 5th year: Cong

New Delhi, Feb 28 (UNI) The Congress today welcomed the Railway Budget proposals, describing them as ''innovative, positive, productive and people-friendly.'' Railway Minister Lalu Prasad was successfully continuing the trend of addressing the needs of the ''Aam Aadmi,'' the prime focus of the Congress, which he had set in his first Budget in 2004, party spokesperson Jayanti Natarajan told reporters.

She singled out the cut in passenger fare and the concessions to senior citizens, women, students and victims of HIV for praising the proposals.
