JPCC to request Sonia to decide issue of extending support to Koda
Ranchi, Feb 26 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Commiittee (JPC) will request party's national president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi to take a final decision over withdrawing support to the Madhu Koda government.
The JPCC held its meeting at the MLA hostel here and unanimously decided to request JPCC in-charge Ajay Maken to clear party's stand on this issue.
Accusing the Koda government of indulging in corruption, JPCC president Pradeep Balmuchu said the State government was not working according to the people's expectation and this decision had been taken for the benefit of the state and its people.
JPCC today's decision assumed significance as the month-long budget session of the Koda government is likely to begin from tomorrow.
Earlier the party had given two-month ultimatum to the State government to ''perform or persih'' which ended on January 15 last.
