Jindal Saw net up 854% at Rs 573.88cr

New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) Pipe maker Jindal Saw Ltd today said its net profit increased 854 per cent to Rs 573.88 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 compared to Rs 60.13 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income has increased 35 per cent to Rs 1,613.44 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 1,193.62 crore in the same period last year.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 876.38 crores for the 15 months year ended December 31, 2007. Total Income is at Rs 6,796.85 crores in the same period.

The consolidated results of the group posted a net profit of Rs 1,329.37 crore for the 15 months year ended December 31, 2007.

Total Income has increased from Rs 7,467.38 crore in the same period.
