ITax officer, CA arrested on charges of Graft
New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) An Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax posted at Indore and a Chartered Accountant were arrested today for accepting bribe of Rs nine lakh from the complainant.
Assistant Commissioner Pankaj Gupta and CA Shyam Sunder Mundra were arrested for accepting the bribe.
The Complainant, a proprietor of a private firm at Indore, lodged a complaint that the accused had demanded bribe for showing official favour regarding settlement of income tax survey conducted by the accused.
