IAS charges modified in MP

Bhopal, Feb 26 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government today modified the charges held by more than a dozen Indian Administrative Service officers, official sources said.

Commissioner-cum-Director (Treasury and Accounts) and ex-officio Secretary Manoj Goyal became Officer on Special Duty-cum-Commissioner and Director (Treasury and Accounts). The post was made equivalent to principal secretary. Chhindwara's Collector Arun Pande and his Chhatarpur counterpart B K Batham were promoted as secretaries and would retain their posts that were elevated to secretary level.

The posts of Jabalpur-based Madhya Pradesh Eastern Region Power Distribution Company Chairman-cum-Managing Director Pankaj Agrawal, State Civil Supplies Corporation MD Ashish Shrivastav, State Scheduled Tribes Corporation MD Raghuveer Shrivastav, District Poverty Initiative Project Coordinator and Rozgar Nirman Board Executive Director Ravindra Pastaur were elevated to divisional commissioner-level.

Additional Chief Election Officer K C Gupta was given additional charge as Secy (Revenue) and Controller (Accounts and Printing Material), Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation MD Smita Gate Chandra was shifted as Commissioner-cum-Director (Archaeology and Museums), Director (Woman and Child Development) Kalpana Shrivastav was made Commissioner (Woman and Child Development), Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission Secy K M Gautam became the Commission's OSD-cum-Secy, Additional Secy (Governor's Secretariat) Umesh Mundra was transferred as Director (AIDS) and ex-officio Secy (Public Health and Family Welfare), Addl Secy (Revenue) and Controller (Accounts and Printing Material) Pradeep Khare was made Member (Revenue Circle), Gwalior, and Addl Secy (Chief Secy's Office and General Administration) Seema Sharma became Secy (CSO).

Mr Sudesh Kumar was made Secy (Backward Classes and Minorities' Welfare), Director (AIDS) Saleena Singh became Commissioner (Scheduled Castes Welfare) and Commissioner-cum-Director (Archaeology and Museums) Pramod Agrawal was posted as MD, Industrial Centre Development Corporation.
