Dead body found near Aizawl hotel

Aizawl, Feb 26 (UNI) A dead body identified as that of one Thangcha Kipgen (46), was found near Rajdoot Hotel here this morning,police said.

Police have taken the manager, the attendants and some occupants of the hotel for questioning.

According to the hotel manager, five persons including two women from Manipur's Churachandpur, checked into the hotel on February 24.

The man was found dead with a piece of cloth tied around his neck and blood oozing out of his ears which made police believe that he had been strangled to death.
