Cowpathy to be patented as cure for dreaded diseases

Ladwa, Hisar, Feb 26 (UNI) Claiming that its ''Cowpathy'' treatment has successfully treated HIV positive and cancer patients, a hospital in the Ladwa Goshala here is planning to get the pharmacy patented and modernised soon.

Showing the medical laboratory reports of 17 cancer and 13 HIV positive patients who have been ''fully cured by the cowpathy medicines and treatment provided by the hospital'', cowpathy expert Vaidya Mohan Sharma told mediapersons here yesterday that the reports were a testimony to ''our continued efforts to fight the dreaded diseases through the inexpensive and universally-available sources.'' Informing that Late Vaidya Ram Niwas had introduced cowpathy in the hospital seven years ago, he said that following successful cure patients, the management of this hospital was building modern laboratories and shall get the pharmacy patented soon.

The medicines were prepared with the help of cow's urine and dung along with herbs in the hospital itself and provided to patients on nominal price. The medicines would now be made on a large scale, he added.

Mr Kulwant Singh, secretary of the institute said, ''the patients are coming from all over the country. Primarily, they stay here only for one or two days for tests and carry back the medicines and then visit for further treatment after a month or so.

Mr Sharma further claimed that the cowpathy treatment was very useful in treating ''stone'' and breathing problems also.
