4 deer die of unusual reasons in Harishchandrapur Deer Forest

Malda, Feb 26 (UNI) Four deer died due to unusual reasons in the deer forest in Harishchandrapur Block II under Chachal Sub-division.

Their bodies have been sent for post mortem, Divisinal Forest Officer Rajendra Jaffar said and added that nothing can be said for certain until they receive the reports.

However, the villagers alleged that these deer died due to lack of nourishment.

Incidentally, this is the first time that any deer died due to unusual reasons in these forests.
