30 students fall sick

Challapalli, Feb 26 (UNI) As many as 30 residential students of Gurukula Patasala in this mandal fell sick and were admitted to Challapalli Kasturi Memorial Government Hospital here today.

Puritigadda Primary Health Centre doctor Ratnagiri told UNI that about 30 students, who were staying in the Gurukula hostel, after taking rice, which was not properly cooked, developed stomach ache and later vomited.

Dr Ratnagiri said the students would be discharged from the hospital in the evening.
