Mobile schools in Dhanbad for unprivileged kids

Dhanbad, 23 Feb, 2008 : In what can be termed as a unique initiative, authorities in Dhanbad have set up mobile schools for those deprived of basic education needs.

According to authorities, as the city is highly fire prone due to coal mines, it is difficult to set up permanent schools there and so they have come up with the idea of mobile schools. These schools have deployed teachers who cycle from one locality to another from dawn to dusk to hold classes for under privileged children of all ages who attend this school.
