Rain, snow likely in Himachal Pradesh, J

Pune, Feb 25 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Punjab, south Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Saurashtra. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu and were below normal in some parts of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, north Konkan, north Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and in remaining parts of Saurashtra and Kutch.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, interior Orissa, east Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Telangana. They were above normal in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, and south Madhya Maharashtra. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Mainly sunny weather prevailed in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar.
