Man with fake passport held in airport

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 25: A 27-year-old man was arrrestd by the police when he attempted to fly to Sharjah with a fake passport at the International airport here.

Police said R Kannan of Cuddalore presented his passport to the immigration authorities yesterday, who on verification found the passport fake. Later, Kannan was arrested and remanded in judicial custody, police said.
