Gold closes higher at Rs 12,265 per ten gm

Mumbai, Feb 25 (UNI) Both the precious metals continued their upward march today with standard Gold closing at another record peak of Rs 12,265, rising by Rs 35 per ten gm, and Silver moving up to Rs 22,735, up by Rs 80 per kg, on strong advice from Global centres.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fines grade : Rs 22,735 (22,655) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,265 (12,230) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,320 (12,290).
