ER to run 106 summer special trains
Kolkata, February 25 (UNI) With a view to managing the heavy rush of passengers during the summer vacations period, Eastern Railway (ER) will run altogether 106 summer special trains from May one to June 17 this year.
An ER release issued here today stated that 26 Howrah-Delhi trains, 14 Howrah-Dehradun, 26 Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri, 26 Howrah-New Jalpaiguri and 14 Howrah-Gorakhpur trains will be run.
Besides, ER will allot over one lakh extra berths to handle the rush of passengers.
