Drug peddler arrested, heroin worth Rs 50 lakh recovered

New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) The Narcotics Cell of the Delhi Police have arrested an alleged drug peddler and recovered 500 gm heroin worth Rs 50 lakh from his possession.

A police team acting on a tip-off, apprehended the accused Kaushar Ali, a resident of Bareilly, from Jalebi Chowk in Sultanpuri area last night. His interrogation revealed that h had been supplying heroin to clients in Delhi, police said.

Efforts are being made to arrest the main culprits, police said.
