Delhi court frames charges against Ahluwalia in cheating cases
New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) The Delhi court today framed charges against S S Ahluwalia,an IAS officer of 1969 batch for criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery using false documents as genuine under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act.
CBI has filed a chargeshhet before the court of special judge, CBI Vinod Goel alleging that in the year 1987 Ahluwalia had an asset of Rs 6.2 million, more than his known source of income.
During these periods, he was posted in ministry of Home Affairs and as Chief Secretary of Nagaland.
CBI had filed a chargesheet before the court in the year 2005.
The court fixed March 13 as the next date of hearing for recording of evidence.
