Congress rally on Feb 27 in Muzaffarnagar

Lucknow, Feb 25 (UNI) Expressing concern over the dismal state of farmers, Congress today announced to hold a rally on February 27 in Lalukheri area of Muzaffarnagar district.

Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) chief spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh said former MP Chief Minister and UP Congress in charge Digvijay Singh will address the grand rally.

The party had already conducted a rally focussing at several issues of farmers in Kushinagar on February 19, Mr Singh apprised.

UPCC president Dr Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Union minister for State for agriculture Kantilal Bhuria and Congress legislative party leader Pramod Tiwari will also address the rally, he said.
