Combined Defence Services Exam. results declared
New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) A total of 254 candidates have been selected for Officers' Training Academy, Chennai for 87th Short Service Commission Course (for men) and 1st Short Service Commission (Women Non-Technical) Course, commencing in April this year.
The selections of candidates was based on the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I), 2007, conducted by the UPSC, and interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Defence Ministry.
The list of 87th Short Service Commission Course (for men) also includes the names of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of the result of the same examination for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Goa Course, and Air Force Station-Begumpet, Hyderabad Course.
The number of vacancies for the 87th Short Service Commission Course (for men) is 175 while for 1st Short Service Commission (Women Non-Technical) Course, there are 11 vacancies.
UPSC has set up a Facilitation Counter in its Campus. Candidates may obtain any information regarding their examination or recruitment in person or over telephone numbers 23385271/23381125//23098543 from this centre.
