AP police on alert after human bomb 'threat'
Hyderabad, Feb 25 (UNI) Alerted by the Central Intelligence agencies on 'human bombs' sneaking into the city to trigger explosions, the Andhra Pradesh Police today tightened security in the capital and other sensitive locations of the State.
According to police sources here, the agencies informed their counterparts in the State about two human bombs who entered the capital city and another in Bangalore from Bangladesh.
All strategic places like Defence establishments, religious places, police headquarters and residential areas of Ministers and people representatives on the hit list, have come under intense security scanner.
The recent revelations made by Nasir, suspected to have a role in the August 25 twin blasts here, arrested in Bangalore, during narco tests that 'Fidayeen' (sucide squads) had entered the city to trigger blasts, have put the securitymen on a round-the-clock alert.
