Police recover labour agent's body from Dolaichowk village
Malda, Feb 24 (UNI) Police recovered a labour agent's body from Dolaichowk village under Kaliachowk police station in the district last night.
Malda Superintendent of Police Satyajit Bannerjee said here today that one Dilip Mondol's (35) body was exhumed from the village in the presence of the District Magistrate.
The main accused in the murder case, Sanjay Mondol, was absconding and a manhunt was on to nab him, the SP added.
The victim was missing since January 20. Later, his family members lodged an FIR at the police station on January 26 and an investigation was launched in the matter.
