PM, Sonia to campaign in Nagaland

Kohima, Feb 24: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and AICC president Sonia Gandhi will arrive here on a daylong visit to campaign for their party ahead of the March five Nagaland Assembly elections.

AICC secretary Ranji Thomas told newspersons here yesterday that the Prime Minister will address a public rally at the Kohima local ground on February 27 and after addressing the rally he will proceed to Meghalaya to attend another election rally.

Ms Gandhi will arrive here on March 1 and attend two rallies at Mokokchung and Dimapur. She is also likely to go to Meghalaya on the same day, he informed.
