Notorious rowdy hacked to death in TN

Chennai, Feb 24 (UNI) A notorious rowdy was hacked to death in Thanjavur District of Tamil Nadu today by a six-member car-borne gang.

Police said the armed gang attacked Jotheeswaran with lethal weapons, killing him on the spot.

When they tried to escape in their car, the driver lost control over the vehicle and rammed it into a house.

The gang then stopped an Armed Reserve policeman who was passing by and took his two-wheeler at knife point.

They also took another two-wheeler parked nearby and escaped.

Police have launched a manhunt to nab them.
