Inter-state conference of paediatricians concludes today

Saharsa, Feb 24 (UNI) A two-day inter-state conference of paedia- tricians was organised in collaboration with UNICEF concluded here today.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr Piyush Gupta of Delhi Univerisity outlined the basics of health care for parents to avoid diseases to their children. Sharing his views on polio and chiken pox Dr Gupta said the parents need to be cautious against such diseases.

Programme convenor Dr J.Chandra said the training provided by UNICEF on how to handle injections and saline would help the paramedics immensley.

A delegation of paediatricians from different states of the country attended the conference.
