51 tribals reconverted to Hinduism

Rourkela, Feb 24 (UNI) As many as 51 tribals were reconverted to Hinduism at a special function at Babudihi village, about 120 km from here, today.

According to the Police these tribal Christians, from 12 families, among whom 23 were women, ''embraced back'' Hinduism in the presence of VHP leaders of the state.

They were converted to Hinduism at a special function called 'Paravartan''.

Among others VHP General Secretary A.Kar and VHP Central Coordinating member Jeeban Chaitanandanji graced the occasion.
