Troops kill six militants in Manipur

Imphal, Feb 23 (UNI) Troops of Assam Rifles shot dead six militants in an encounter at Manipur's Chandel district today.

Assam Rifles sources said the militants were killed after the security personnel launched an operation at Samtal areas and an encounter ensued.

A large numbers of ammunition were also recovered from the areas, sources added.
