Sharad Pawar should resign: Joshi
Beed, Feb 23 (UNI) Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi today demanded that Union Agriculture minister Sharad Pawar resign as suicides by farmers continued unabated in Maharashtra.
Mr Joshi, who was here to attend the Shiv Sena's ''Karjmukti Mela'', told UNI that the Government was acting partially by giving different treatment to farmers in the affected regions of Marathwada and Vidharba.
''It is an insult to Marathwada and the Sena will seek an answer from the Government on this issue,'' the former Lok Sabha speaker said.
