Mohammed Kammakutty remanded to COD custody
Hubli, Feb 23 (UNI) The suspected SIMI activist Mohammed Kammakutty alias Yahya Khan, arrested in Bangalore on Thursday, was remanded to Corps Of Detectives (COD) custody till March 6 here today.
Sources said Kammakutty was produced before the First Class Judicial Magistrate at his residence around 0340 hrs.
Later, Kammakutty was taken to Vidyagiri police station at Dharwad.
The COD team is likely to take him to Castlerock, a place on Karnataka-Goa border, where a SIMI meeting was held recently, the sources added.
