Five held for looting petrol pump
Bhopal, Feb 23 (UNI) Five members of a gang involved in looting Rs three lakh from a petrol pump were today arrested from a house in Ayodhya Nagar area here, police said.
''On a tip-off, police raided a house in Ayodhya Nagar area and nabbed Satyendra Tiwari, Brajesh Banjara, Hare Krishna, Zahur Khan and Anil Sahu,'' Superintendent of Police, Jaideep Prasad said.
''Sunita Punjabi, kingpin of the gang, was absconding. The accused had looted Rs three lakh from a petrol pump in Piplani area on November 24, 2006,'' he said.
Besides the amount of loot, the police have seized a car and a motorcycle from them.
