Backward Caste Sub-Committee reconstituted

Bhopal, Feb 23 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government has reconstituted Backward Caste Sub-Committee and appointed Food and Civil Supplies Minister Akhand Pratap Singh as its chairman, official sources said today.

The reconstitution of the cabinet sub-committee has been carried out to review steps taken on applications and suggestions of the backward community. Additional Chief Secretary (Backward Caste) was appointed secretary of the sub-committee.

Women and Child Development Minister Kusum Mehdele, Revenue Minister Kamal Patel, PHE Minister Gangaram Patel and Minister of State for Forest Narayan Singh Kushwah were appointed members.
