AP Governor calls for studies to make Vedas more acceptable
Tirumala, Feb 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari today called upon the 'pundits' to do further researches in Vedas to make the 'relevance of the ancient sacred books' more acceptable in this era of science and technology.
After inaugurating the silver jubilee Celebrations of the Vedapatasala and the six-day Sri Venkateswara Veda Sastra Agama Vidwat Sadas at Vedagir here, the Governor said ''technological advances should be used for propagating Vedic messages. Various scientific theories and findings could be found in the Vedas.'' ''Vedas are treasures of the ancient knowledge of our country.
Vedic knowledge deals with every-day life and approach to Dharma,'' he added.
