TRS MLAs suspended for two days from AP Asembly
Hyderabad, Feb 22 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) floor leader G Vijayarama Rao and eight other TRS legislators were suspended from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly for two days for stalling the proceedings to press for house resolution for separate Telangana.
The trouble started as soon as the House assembled for the day, when Speaker K R Suresh Reddy disallowed the adjournment motion given by the TRS on the issue. Immediately, TRS members rushed to the well of the House and staged protest, raising slogans in support of separate Telangana.
After repeated appeals, Mr Reddy adjourned the House for fifteen minutes, with no signs of restoration of normalcy.
